    Mio is an app designed to make home maintenance management more efficient by offering recurring management services. As a homeowner, you have access to our platform that utilizes location, season, and weather-based technology to quickly identify and modify needed services tailored to your home. In addition, our app enables recurring cashless payments and trackable issue resolution managed by our customer service team.

    Mio is an intelligent personal home service concierge solution that enables homeowners to find, schedule, and pay reputable, high-quality home service providers with minimal time and effort.
  • How are business added to Mio?
    Businesses choose to sign up with Mio to provide services to homeowners. Before scheduling assistance with a service provider, Mio performs a thorough business entity check and background check to ensure the service provider is a legitimate business. Mio also reviews references to ensure that the service provider performs excellent service.
  • How do i file a complaint?

  • How do I know if I’m getting a fair price?
    To ensure homeowners are receiving the best price for the requested services. Mio contacts or receives quotes from hundreds of local service providers available to perform the requested service. In turn, Mio displays the lowest quote for the service.
  • Is it better to pay pros directly or through Mio?
    Mio offers a cashless payment system to pay the service provider. This means the homeowner doesn't need to be present when the services are completed.
  • How do I redeem a promo code?
    There will be a field where you can add in the promo code when you are about to submit your payment. Once the promo code is submitted, the charges will be updated, and the discounted amount for the services will be displayed.
  • How secure is your payment process?
    Mio uses a well-known commercial payment processing system to settle homeowner and service provider payments. The retail payment processing system requires two-factor authentication from Mio's staff to complete each payment.
  • Will I be charged right away?
    Mio charges homeowners only after the requested service has been completed.
  • Are there cancellation fees?
    To ensure the quality of our services for service providers and homeowners like yourself we have policies that are designed to promote a reliable, consistent experience. We understand that cancellations or rescheduling services are needed but with short notices causes our service providers to lose valuable work. With that being said, the following cancellation fees will be applied when services are cancelled or rescheduled within the timelines that are mentioned below of your service request’s start time.
  • What is the background check process?
    Before Mio schedules a service provider to perform a requested service, a service provider must first pass Mio's verification and background check process. The service provider must be registered with the state in which it operates and must have been in existence for at least two years before registering with Mio Home Services. The service provider must also be licensed and bonded with enough insurance coverage. Additionally, background checks are performed on all service provider staff that will be performing services requested through Mio.
  • Does Mio sell or share my personal information?
    Mio does not sell any personal information to third parties. Mio will only share a phone number and address with a service provider when services are requested.
